Your vehicle requires constant attention, and this fact is similar to the attention needed by a child. You need to check everything regularly or things can quickly go sideways. So, what are the most important things, when it comes to taking care of your vehicle?
We are all more or less aware of the danger of living in an area with a lot of motor vehicle traffic. As adults, we do all that’s in in our power to keep everybody safe, especially our children. It is all too easy to forget the everyday danger that cars pose to the lives of our loved ones. The fact is that cars are an essential part of our lives and that we don’t really have another option we can use but we should never take the threat they pose for granted. As long as awareness about these hazards is there, we have a chance to avoid them.
Knowledge is power and this is why we have decided ..
It’s great to get out of town for a while, experience the great outdoors and get back in touch with nature. We hardly do anything besides sit down at a computer or TV all day, most likely in a poorly ventilated room with very little natural light, so a nice long trip is a great way to get that body moving. All the fresh air, sunlight and extra physical activity can only do you some good. Of course, long trips, particularly when we are considering camping in the wild, can have their risks. This is why it is a good idea to plan out your trip well-ahead of time and prepare well for such a long jo..
We had quite a lot of new products on the site this month so here's a quick recap if you havent been following the updates on Facebook.
We added a range of the most common blower motors, universal heaters and visco fan clutches to the Thermal Control section. We're hoping to expand on this in the future with radiators and more. More headlights were added from Hella too as well as the new Hella Mining LED buggy whips. We also added some worklights both halogen and xenon.
News of their new Bullitt Advanced appeared this month and can be seen on their new websit..
Have you ever heard about Murphy’s Law? Well if you haven’t, you have probably experienced it first hand – it states that if something can go wrong, it will go wrong, and usually at the worst time possible. This is what created a saying: “better safe than sorry”, and this is especially important when it comes to your safety, especially in traffic. This is why it is essential to regularly check your car and make sure that everything is in order, from the engine to the tires, and this is an absolute must before going on a long trip.

We've found the Hella Eliver Interactive tool very handy in recent times to show customers the real difference in beam patterns of all the popular Hella lights available. Although its a digital rather than real life picture shown its very accurate indeed and a true reflection of the lights output.
Its also a great comparison generally for the difference between halogen, xenon and LED lights in terms of relative brightness regardless of whether its made by Hella.
We hope its useful for people to make more of an informed decision about what type of light to go for and what the li..

Hello troops and welcome back to 'The Sarge's Blog'!
We're going to continue with the build of the 2003 Ford Police Interceptor & on this Blog we will look at the K-9 Compartment.
Now, anyone knows you can't just throw your dog on the rear seat and expect it to be in one piece after a high speed pursuit, this is why K-9 compartments were developed for sedans and SUVs. Utilising the proven high speed characteristics of modern police cars and combining them with the required transport..
The website expansion continued this month with some new products lines as well as additions to existing ones.
We added some new Peterson lamps in the form of rear LED combination trailer lamps and LED worklights.
The air fittings were expanded to include air brake specifc SIRIT fittings. These are permanent single use brass fittings which are heavy duty and meant to last. Far more reliable than the re-usable type. They have a modular design for solid T's or swivel assemblies.
Most of the work was behind the scenes in September but we have ..
Hello troops and welcome back to 'The Sarge's Blog'!

Hello again and welcome back to the Sarge's Blog.
So today I'll show you the blank canvas and talk a little bit about wiring.
My car did see service in Texas so fitting the equipment on should not be an issue. I would however need to establish if the equipment I propo..
Lots of products up on the site this month, Here's a summary for those that don't use our Facebook page.
Hella Mining: Mostly work lights with a power socket normally found on heavy plant vehicles and a padlockable battery master switch. The LED worklights are on a whole other level in terms of brightness comapred to the run of the mill stuff plus they are as tough as old boots thanks to the IP6K9K ratings. We may have found something other than cockroaches that'll survive a nuclear war.
Also from Hella was a small expansion on our range of driving..
