Delivery Information

Local

We provide a van delivery service to our trade account and trade cash customers based in the local area (Greater Glasgow). We normally deliver orders on a same day basis depending on stock availability and our delivery service adheres to BSI quality assurance controls to guarantee the best service possible. Orders placed before 9:30am are usually delivered that morning. Orders placed before 1:30pm are usually delivered that afternoon.

If you are unsure if your delivery destination is covered please contact the relevant branch for more information. PLEASE NOTE: Van delivery is only available to account customers or regular trade cash customers. We do not deliver to residential areas.

Carrier (Flat Rate)

We use UK Mail as our preferred carrier and they have proved to be reliable and quick. Delivery for next day parcels applies to all of the UK Mainland . UK Islands and Northern Ireland destinations will incur an additional charge. Please contact us if you are outside Mainland UK. If you place an order and are charged the standard carriage but you are outside Mainland UK we will contact you to arrange the payment of the balance of the carriage charge.

Sample prices: UK Mainland up to 25kg next day service: £7.50 plus VAT. Northern Ireland / Republic Ireland / Isle of Man etc: £17.50 plus VAT. We can also ship internationally. Please contact us for a quote.

All consignments are fully tracked and signed for with electronic proof of delivery available if required. We can also supply a tracking number and link to the UK Mail Follow My Parcel website facility.

*Orders over £100.00 (excluding VAT) are carriage charge free for Mainland UK addresses only. All other locations are charged normal rates.

Royal Mail

We recently added a postage calculator for 1st class Royal Mail Signed For services. This will make smaller purchases cheaper to ship than selecting the Flat Rate UK Mail next day carrier service.

Delivery disclaimer

-The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order, except that some deliveries are not made outside the United Kingdom.
-Orders placed before 2:30pm on a working day will be processed that day and will be delivered provided no additional security checks are required and all stock items are available. (A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or other public holidays.)
-If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under the Supplier's control the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for delivery.
-If you deliberately fail to take delivery of the goods (otherwise than by reason of circumstances under control of the Supplier) then without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to the Supplier , the Supplier may:
     1:store the goods until actual delivery and charge you for reasonable costs (including insurance) of storage; or
     2:sell the goods at the best readily obtainable price and (after deducting all reasonable storage and selling expenses) account to you for any excess over the price you agreed to pay for the goods or charge you for any shortfall below the price you agreed to pay for the goods.
-If you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations the Supplier shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods, less any expenses incurred for failed delivery.
-Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, the Supplier will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible.
-Time for delivery shall not be of the essence. The goods may be delivered by the Supplier in advance of the quoted delivery date.
-Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. If you are unable to check the contents of the package at that moment in time please sign for the parcel as "UNCHECKED". Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims that you make thereafter.
